Instructions for prepaid customers :

Loading Help:

Thank you so much for booking us to load your truck for you! We come with the following; basic tools set, lifting straps, dollies, shrink wrap for purchase 15$ per roll, and pads for purchase UPON RERQUEST 5$ each.


We will wrap and protect furniture that we know requires it,  if you require everything to be wrapped please let the movers know or they may skip some less valuable items to preserve protection for more valuable or delicate items. It is ABSOLUTELY crucial to rent or provide padding for your items as this will keep them from being damaged. We can use sheets, blankets, or anything soft you have to cover the items as well. Without them, you can and should expect scratches, dings and marks to your belongings. Failing to provide protection will void our insurance policy and ability to offer you any recourse.


  • 10’-15’ truck-12-24 pads minimum unless you own no furniture
  • 17’-20’ truck-24-36 pads minimum
  • 26’- 4 dozen +pads


We have a schedule that will most likely include more than one job in a day, this requires some leniency on arrival times. Being our first job of the day ensures a 1 hour WINDOW for arrival, while choosing the afternoon spots may result in needing a 2-3 hour arrival window. Most days we can narrow down our times to within an hour, BUT if a customer needs an extra hour past their purchased time we WILL stay. We will stay in touch via text or message from our system portal with our updated ETA.


Packing!!! We come assuming you have packed all necessary items in boxes. This includes- TVs, Wall hangings and décor, glass pieces from cabinets or tables. Please note, if you have not packed these items, it may throw off an estimate by the end of the project resulting in a higher final bill. We are happy to help with whatever is needed we just don’t want to run out of time and have to leave a job unfinished.


FAQ: MASKS- We do not wear them! If you have special concerns, please speak with mgmt. to be accommodated.


GRATUITY- our crew gives each job their VERY best, and should you choose to leave them a tip That is amazing and we make sure they go directly to our crew. These can be left within some of the websites you have prepaid in, but best done outside of the site. Please know that while generosity is always appreciated, we are happy to be of service to all and have NO SUCH EXPECTATIONS


MATTRESSES- if you require them in a bag, please have them on or ready for us to install upon arrival.


CLOTHING- We recommend saving money on boxes and just using bags or leaving solid dressers loaded. By solid we mean NOT Ikea 😊 if you choose to use wardrobe boxes, please remember they take an exceptional amount of truck space.
 

FLOOR PROTECTION- we do come with a single runner to protect a walkway, and this method has not failed yet. If you have fears about the floors simply head to the home store and pickup some covering before we arrive as we unfortunately have nowhere to store it to stay in good condition

UNLOADING HELP

WHAT TO EXPECT

 Before our arrival on moving day, you should receive a message that we are on the road with an exact GPS arrival time to give you. We do require an arrival “window” of 1 hour in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon to allow for traffic, last minute preparations, or incidents like a dead car battery for example. We come with our own dollies, basic tools, straps, rollers and other tools of the trade.


 Upon arrival you will see a set of well outfitted, company branded clothing designed to prevent them from ever getting too hot or cold from head to toe. They will have their own water and provisions to get them through the day with little time wasted on breaks or lunches. We will introduce ourselves, take a very quick look around to make sure there is nothing impeding our path, and immediately get to work unloading your storage container or truck. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED AT WORK! All employees have the right to smoke, but while at work the rules allow for a vape pen use only while traveling and not while in operation. This rule applies to phone use as well unless the phone is being used to respond to a customer or coworker.


 If at any time you become nervous or do not appreciate something we are doing, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just make mention of it to us and we WILL correct it immediately! We are there to serve your needs, at a 5- star level, and we do not mind being watched. We have confidence in what we do 😊!


FLOOR PROTECTION

We do use high end athletic shoes that are kept clean as we understand carpeting can become messy from shoe debris. On dry days floor protection is rarely needed, as a vacuum quickly handles the loose debris that invades during moves. The soles of our shoes serve an important purpose in our safety so “booties” cannot be worn, and generally do not stand up to the abuse. One solution we have used in white carpeted homes is to bring in a pile of items, remove our shoes, and then put the items in place barefoot. On messy days we find ways to lay down runners or moving pads to drastically reduce the debris as well.


If you require complete floor protection, please have that done before we arrive. Home stores have a lot of products that can assist with this very easily. We do bring a floor runner to catch water or debris, but it will not cover an entire home. 

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

Whatever you like 😊!

You are welcome to help in whatever capacity you feel most comfortable, even if that means just being in the home watching tv! The absolute BEST way to assist your movers is to be located near the entry point to tell them exactly where each item goes and REMAIN there until the truck is empty.


Our seasoned crew aims to stay in good health, and at times have unloaded a truck in less than half the time it took to load. WE DO NOT RUSH! We really enjoy exercise and appreciate a good steady fast pace. However, safety and care while handling items is our priority. We pride ourselves on the ability to move even heavy items with ease without damaging walls, floors or your belongings. At times, you physically helping in the unloading can slow things down, so your movers will most likely find you a chair first thing when they arrive so you can direct. This is the best way to make the most of your paid time! If we cannot find you, things will get unorganized very quickly resulting in wasted time later.

Our crew shows up to serve you to the best of their ability, and in no way EXPECT gratuity! You are welcome to tip movers directly in cash if you feel they have gone above and beyond for you.
