ABOUT US AND “MORE” THAN MOVING

Over 20 years ago our company began as side work for Mark Schmuck doing business as MS Property Management. Working with several local construction companies over the course of 10 years I acquired a strong understanding of construction, deconstruction, repair and maintenance of all aspects of the average home. Once the decision was made that home building/maintenance didn’t aid in goals for a more active lifestyle, Mark began seeking out more physically demanding work which led to him the moving industry. Our original movers were trained by a program offered by Uhaul and started in a donation/resale environment. Years of moving and the background in construction gives us unique insight into things the average mover does not, and a list of skills rarely available on moving day. For example: We can take apart your tv, cable, and several components or home audio, and set it up on the other end!

We CAN remove/install your tv on the wall.

We CAN repair a wall if we slip and gouge it.

We CAN remove your fancy drapes and curtains.

We CAN most likely tell you why your outlet, sink, toilet is malfunctioning in your new home.

We CAN safely remove appliances and can warn you if its unsafe to do so!

Someone on our staff will most likely know how to work things you may not have experienced yet in your new home.

Several times we have successfully discovered active gas leaks customers were unaware of in their own home!

This handful of examples are only the most recent, and we encourage our workers to help customers ensure their move goes smoothly even if it means going above and beyond the normal scope of our work.

A background in construction combined with over 10 years in the moving business helps us decide the best way to use our tools, equipment, or hand carrying methods to move even the heaviest of items in homes of any size.

We love to get our customers as setup and comfortable in their new space as we possibly can so we will always try to make time for extras if the day allows for it.
